Each year more and more women are being diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), and some never know about it until they finally meet with a doctor that knows to talk about it or asks you the right questions. It is important to get to know your body, track your menstrual cycles and keep your doctor informed of any changes or any issues or things you feel are important. It could save your life! I pulled this article from WebMd that goes into great detail on signs, symptoms, and questions you can bring to your doctor. Please share this with friends and loved ones!
I found this handy picture that is more of a chart on Pinterest and wanted to share it with you all ( I didn’t make it and was unable to find its owner). Recently, I have heard of too many loved ones being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. If you suspect you have this, talk with your healthcare professional to get tested properly and work to eat healthy.
You are important and so is your health.
We always hear about how Suzie Sunshine found an extra 1000 hours in her day to run 50 miles a week and has it all tracked in her app – but what about the rest of us? How exactly are we supposed to find time to fit in a productive workout in our already busy lives? Yes, it is possible to wake up early and hit the gym or morning run before work, but most of us want that hour of sleep or we are using that hour to get our family ready for their day. I shared this article from WebMd about Heat Exhaustion as a reminder to do our best to stay cool and enjoy the summer safely. This is a great read to save and share with friends and loved ones.
Life goes by so quick to that we often forget to take a moment for ourselves. This goes beyond wanting time for a glass of wine. We stand in front of the mirror and think, “I wish I had a better ___.” “I wish I could ____.” The list is endless. We often wish, hope, and pray for a better version of ourselves, our lives, our partners – anything to dull the pain, curb the addictions, subdue the tears. We may be surrounded by negative people, toxic relationships, or a toxic mindset. It’s time to break the cycles we find ourselves in.
You are worth it, and there are people who care and will support you. You are the first step in the process. Do not be discouraged by obstacles of any kind. You are a lot stronger than you think.
Let today be the first day you start over. Remind yourself every day that you are worthy. You are favored. You are loved. You will succeed. Print that out and place it on all your mirrors if you have to. Let’s work harder to spread love and peace than division and hatred.
Each generation has similar complaints when it comes to dating and relationships – the main question usually is, “Why is it so hard to find someone?” Where are the men and women of quality? How exactly can we weed through this mass of nonsense? The endless text/pen pals, the barrage of married people lying about their situations, then want you to just be understanding and wait for them, to people who seem to be floating around from situation to situation waiting for something to happen to them. Some blame technology, but what about 100 years ago when they barely had telephones? They encountered the same issues – even 1000 years ago. The only difference between then and now is in some cases now women are considered almost a person and not really property.
