When the New Year rolls around, a lot of new things usually roll right along with it. Sometimes it’s great and life takes on a whole new meaning, and sadly, sometimes it’s bad – if not really bad.
Make 2016 as beautiful as you are!
For all those who celebrate, I wanted to wish you a wonderful Hanukkah!
We have to remember to find compassion in such a dark world. It is that same compassion that causes the light to shine through.
With all that is going on in the world recently, it is important to take a moment to be conscious of others in bondage, others suffering, and others simply trying to live. We often take our every day lives for granted and do not realize how great we have things until large scale situations happen evoking fear and breeding ignorance. Let’s take a moment to stop and in fact smell the roses, and spread some peace, love, and rock & roll.
Stopped into Walmart earlier: The cashier who rung me up was easily in her 80s. What bothered me is at her age her only worry should be if she should take a nap before Judge Judy or after, not whether the computer/register system in front of her scanned a customers stuff correctly. I sincerely hope that things get better for people, especially for those who should be retired and enjoying life after working hard for so many years. It shouldn’t come down to applying for yet another low paying job just to pay for medications, health care, or food.
Have a wonderful Friday! 😀
