It’s a beautiful, yet very hot, Saturday afternoon. I’m sitting with the a/c on debating on opening a bottle of wine. White wine. Specifically Chardonnay. It’s a personal favorite white wine of mine. Mother’s Day is more than simply a day on the calendar. It’s a time to remember who cared for us and nourished our souls. It doesn’t matter how you became a mother. What matters is the love you give to others selflessly. It’s not easy to love someone else unconditionally. It requires ongoing sacrifice of your time, energy, and spirit. So many of us out there do this without hesitation on a daily basis. You are deserving on praise not only today but every day.

Even if you aren’t a Mother, spread some love this weekend. Someone out there needs a touch of kindness.
