Well well well….

I love her.

Keep kicking ass, Ashley!  I also want the suit she’s wearing in the picture.  It’s sexy and would be worth the wicked tan lines.

Realistic Holiday Health

StrawberriesVeggies

We just passed Halloween and now have bags of candy tempting us by saying it’s okay to eat 1 or 10 pieces for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner.  Without missing a beat, I’ve seen close to 20 (so far) images with workout guides and the horrors of gaining weight over the last two months of the year.  The incentive is to lose your holiday weight now and not wait (weight lol) until the New Year to declare your new super awesome fitness goals.  I think it’s a bit presumptuous of anyone to start shoving protein shakes or whatever weight loss thing down anyone’s throat or assume we are all planning to go into a food coma by sitting at the dining table shoveling mashed potatoes in our mouths in a last ditch effort to have one more bite in the name of Thanksgiving or other holiday meals.

So Awesome!

I’m so glad this is being printed in a major magazine as Sports Illustrated.  I plan on buying the magazine as a keepsake.  I’m not concerned that she’s not being featured by SI because they could have rejected the ad.  They could have told the company that she is not “attractive” and that she “does not fit their standards” or something similar that a lot of magazines already say when presented with similar material.  The presence of “no” and “you are not good enough” is strong in this industry already – but this time they said yes. 😀

Ashley Graham looks fantastic and is wearing a bikini.  We need more models like her on magazine covers, advertisements, TV, film, and so on.  Beauty comes in many more forms than what is shoved down our throats.  I hope this is the first of many changes!

Product Review: Suave Moroccan Infusion Body Lotion

IMG_4558

I got a free sample of Suave’s Moroccan Infusion Body Lotion recently and I have to say it’s amazing.  It moisturizes very well, light weight on my skin, and you don’t have to use a lot to achieve results.  This winter has been harsh on my skin and my elebows and feet have suffered, but this product has made both areas, and all my curves  feel smooth again.  They also have this product in a body oil spray that I haven’t tried that yet.  I’m sure that would work just as well, especially for the price.

The only drawback is the smell.  It’s not a bad smell but I’m not really a fan of it.  The Moroccan oil in the product is pungent, but I find it’s worth putting up with for silky, smooth skin.  It retails for under $5 for the bottle too.  Not bad at all, right?  I know a lot of people scoff at Suave brand but you might be pleasantly surprised at how much they have changed as a brand over the years.

If you have tried it, let me know what you think!
