We all have that drawer or space devoted to our bras. Whether they are fancy, high end, or barely being held together by the last bit of elastic and cheap wire, we rarely feel right in them, and tend to have so many that parting sometimes can be a sweet sorrow. Each store has numerous styles, names, and fits to hold up two friends of ours that barely get along. They don’t even look the same, let alone want to be held up all night by a sometimes constricting torture device. They make us feel sexy, scared, supportive, yet most of us have no clue what we are doing in the lingerie department. I know some women wish they came with instructions, or at least let there be more of a standard across the board when it comes to fits and sizes.
Part of the conversations I have had lately all revolve around how someone I know has lost their job, or they know someone who was laid off or fired from a job they thought was their golden ticket to retirement age. The sad reality is most employers do not care about their employees, they only care about their wallets. This includes not wanting to pay Uncle Sam (taxes) or pay their employees what they are worth. This goes for both big corporations, and the small business that sells the stuff you love but complain is too expensive. So what gives? Should we revolt? Should we march on Washington? Actually in some cases we definitely should, but in this instance, it is important to remember why small businesses matter. They matter not only to your paycheck, but to your communities around the US, and globe.
We are approaching the end of Summer, so I’m getting the most out of my maxi dresses before it gets too cool. I love the color and fit of this dress. I could wear it every day. It’s from Target and was under $35. You can not beat that!
I paired it with simple makeup and hair.
What is your weekend go-to outfit?
I heard this on the radio the other day and had to dig through the internet to find the video. It’s a cute and fun song, but the video is great as well. Love your size no matter what! ❤
This afternoon, I was in celebration of my friends marriage. My dress is off the rack from Burlington Coat Factory, and my shoes are Guess. I bought this a while ago, but it is turning into my go-to for semi formal events. I love it!
Don’t let anyone tell you it’s impossible to find stylish clothes that fit a curvy body. Need help finding great items? I will gladly help you!
